Greek Alphabet
The Greek Alphabet consists of 24 letters of which 7 are vowels and 17 consonants. Some letters look familiar as they can be found in the English alphabet as well. See in the file below the greek letters and their pronunciation. You can also find a table with the most common abbreviations in Greek.
If you are somehow familiar with the letters and pronunciation, you can try reading some Greek words in the file below. If you read the words carefully and aloud, you can easily guess the meaning of quite a lot of them.
